About Us...

Sunshine Travel and Tours was established in July of 1997. After 11 years of working at other local agencies, a door opened up, giving myself and husband the opportunity of owning our own business. The good Lord has blessed us with a great location, impeccable staff, and loyal clients.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your support. We would not be where we are today without you, our very loyal clients.

And a little about our agents...

Michelle  (MEYERS) Valeski    I am originally from Florence WI, and have lived in the Iron Mountain /Kingsford area since 1985. I graduated from travel school in 1984, from the Universal Travel Institute in Ft. Myers FL, and  have worked at local agencies  since August of 1986. In those years, I have had continuing education classes in the travel industry. I have traveled many places by land, sea and air. michelle@sunshinetravelandtours.com

Tracy Schultz    I have been an agent for 32 years. I graduated from McConnel school in Minneapolis in the fall of 1984, and started at Bon Voyage Travel in May of 1985. Then in April of 1999, I came to Sunshine Travel and Tours. I have traveled to several destinations throughout the U.S., including Hawaii and Alaska, Cancun, Nassau and  Jamaica. I have been on 3 cruises that went to St. Thomas, San Juan  and CoCoCay, as well as Cozumel. I enjoy NASCAR racing, and my  husband and I have been to several races. I love golfing, gardening  and playing pool. I have been married to Paul Schultz for over 25 years  and we have no children, only dogs.   tracy@sunshinetravelandtours.com

Dawn (Wescher) Griggs    I have been with Sunshine Travel and Tours since it opened in 1997. I was born and raised in Iron Mountain and went to  McConnell Travel School in Minneapolis upon graduating high school in 1978. I have lived in many areas in the United States working at resorts and travel agencies. Before moving back to Iron Mountain in 1996, I had lived in Milwaukee and was Operations Manager for one of the largest travel agencies in the city. The many places I have lived and worked has given me the opportunity to expand my expertise in the travel industry. I have  traveled to Hawaii, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean.  One of my favorite resorts is the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas (the largest marine habitat in the world) because it is simply amazing! I am also a destination wedding/romance specialist so I would love to help plan the wedding or vacation of your dreams.
